A 16-year-old boy who was stabbed in what appeared to be a gang-related incident died from his wounds on Saturday, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office.

It's out with the old and in with the new in Old Saybrook.

The town's police department building was badly damaged in the torrential floods a few weeks ago.  Town officials on Tuesday announced that the station could not be renovated because the damage is too severe.

A committee is now coming up with a rebuilding plan.

In the meantime, Old Saybrook is looking for a temporary home that will have to last the police department for at least the next 2 years.
