It's out with the old and in with the new in Old Saybrook.
The town's police department building was badly damaged in the torrential floods a few weeks ago. Town officials on Tuesday announced that the station could not be renovated because the damage is too severe.
A committee is now coming up with a rebuilding plan.
In the meantime, Old Saybrook is looking for a temporary home that will have to last the police department for at least the next 2 years.
