State police said one person is dead after a crash on Beacon Valley Road in Beacon Falls on Thursday morning.
The driver was identified as John Dagostino, 56, according to police. He was alone in the car and the crash involved one vehicle, according to state police.
It is not clear if the Dagostino was killed in the crash or suffered a medical condition prior to the collision, police said.
The road was closed but has since reopened.
