One man was critically injured in an overnight shooting in Hamden.
The incident happened outside a barber shop located at 861 Dixwell Avenue just after 11 p.m. Friday night.
Police said the victim has been identified as John Crewe, 37, of West Haven. Crewe suffered a gun shot wound to his lower back and was taken to St. Raphael's Hospital for treatment.
Crewe is listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery at the hospital, according to officials.
Police said they have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
