One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in New Haven Friday afternoon.
New Haven police said the shooting happened just before 2 p.m. at an apartment on Chapel Street, between Park Street and Howe Street, and officers have responded to the scene.
The victim has been transported by ambulance to the hospital.
No additional information was immediately available.
