Starting this weekend, you will not have to pay to park in the Crown Street Garage in New Haven on Saturdays.
Parking at the garage will be free between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
“This is really something that we’re glad to be able to do for our downtown retailers,” Acting Executive Director of Park New Haven, David B. Panagore. said in a news release. “Our goal is to have as many folks as possible experience everything that is so great about the Elm City, whether that is a daily visitor to New Haven, or someone who is making their first trip to our city.”
The regular rate for the garage is $4 for the first hour and $3 for each additional hour.
