Suffield Police are investigating a crash that killed a 65 year-old woman on Thursday evening.
Patricia Handler was struck by an SUV at 4:37 p.m., as she was crossing Bridge Street, police said.
Handler was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police said she lived at the Maple Court senior housing facility.
The driver, identified as Christine Swanson, 49, of East Hartford, stayed at the scene.
