    A 27-year-old University of Bridgeport student was struck by a car and is dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Shelton Tuesday night. (Published Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017)

    A 27-year-old University of Bridgeport student was struck by a car and is dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Shelton Tuesday night. Police said two cars were involved.

    Police responded to the crash on Bridgeport Avenue at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday and said as Bethapudi Naga Tulasi Ram, of India, was pronounced dead at the scene.

    He was living in Waterbury and was a student at the University of Bridgeport, according to police.

    Police said they both drivers are cooperating with police.
