A student at McGee Middle School in Berlin was struck on High Road Monday morning and has been transported to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, according to police.
The boy’s injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
High Road is closed between Dayl Drive and Hickory Hill Road.
Police said two people were in the car that hit the boy and the driver remained at the scene.
Anyone who saw anything is asked to call police.
