Pedestrian Struck in Manchester Dies

The victim is a 47-year-old man.

A 47-year-old Manchester man who was struck by a car in Manchester on Thursday night has died.

A sport utility vehicle struck Christopher Warner at Main and Pearl streets at 8:20 p.m., police said.

He was taken to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver is a 67-year-old East Hartford man, police said.

The accident reconstruction team is investigating.
