A Hamden man who was struck by a car on Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven around 8:45 p.m has died, acoording to state police.
Thomas Haesche, 52, of Hamden, was walking on the highway when he was struck between exits 5 and 6, police said.
He was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police ask anyone with information about the crash to call Troop I in Bethany at 203-393-4200.
