A person who was hit by a train in Milford Tuesday night is dead, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The person, a male, was hit by a train heading west from the Milford station between the Milford and Noroton Heights stops around 11:54 p.m., according to MTA and an alert from Metro-North. No information has been released on his age.
No one who was on the train was injured. All passengers disembarked and got on other trains.
MTA police are investigating.
The scene has cleared and trains are running on schedule.
