Person Suffers Heart Attack on Home Depot Roof in Lisbon

State police and firefighters rescued a man who suffered a heart attack on the roof of a Home Depot store in Lisbon on Monday morning, according to the Taftville Fire Company.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at 142 River Road in Lisbon around 10 a.m. Monday, firefighters said. A state police trooper performed CPR on the person, then Lisbon firefighters used a defibrillator.

First responders used a ladder bucket to lower the person off the roof and onto a stretcher. The person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance in unknown condition. It's not clear what the patient was doing on the roof at the time.

"We are unsure of the outcome of this call but we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim and their family," Taftville Fire Company No. 2 posted on its Facebook page Monday.
