Looking to add a furry friend to your family?
John Gagnon from John Gagnon's Pet Resort in Colchester is hosting a pet adoption event on Sunday.
Seven local rescue groups and over 70 dogs and 10 cats will be at the event.
People interested in taking home a canine or feline friend will go through an application process before it's finalized to ensure the animals are placed in a proper environment.
The event will be held at 227 Upton Road in Colchester from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. More information is available online.
