A Glastonbury doctor accused of sex assault has been offered a plea deal, according to his attorney, Norm Pattis.
Pattis said on Tuesday that the State’s Attorney’s office offered Dr. Tory Westbrook a deal but would not disclose detail s of the deal.
No decision has yet been made on whether to accept it, Pattis said.
Police charged Westbrook after a five-month investigation that started when they received complaints about Dr. Westbrook from his patients at the Community Health Center in Clinton, where he worked until February 2012.
Several sex assault charges against Westbrook have been filed in Clinton.
