One person is in custody after an armed bank robbery in Woodbridge that led to a foot chase into Orange and a school lockdown, according to state police.
The bank robbery was at TD Bank in Woodbridge and the robber had a gun, according to state police, who assisted in the investigation.
Orange police said the robber abandoned his vehicle near Route 34 and fled on foot.
Police from several departments, including Woodbridge, Orange, Milford and State Police conducted a search and found the person they were looking for in a wooded area off Cumming Drive.
Police said the Racebook School in Orange was in lockdown and police will remain at the school until the end of the day.
Amity Junior High Middle School and Hebrew Day School on Derby Avenue were ordered to shelter in place.
