Connecticut State Police have identified the body found in the Connecticut River in Chester earlier this month as a Portland man.
The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Steven Detoro.
Detoro’s body was found in the area of the Chester ferry landing on the morning of May 8.
Police said there is no criminal aspect to the death.
