Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Winsted on Thursday night and said it might have been accidental.
The victim, an 87-year-old woman, was found at a Platt Hill Road home last night, according to police, and had been shot once.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
They said it was not a random incident and might have been an accidental shooting.
