New London Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Saturday night.
Police said the shooting happened in the area of 46 Mountain Ave. around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Police arrived at the scene and found Tornando Robinson, 26, of New London, suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body.
According to police, Robinson was transported to a nearby hospital before being airlifted by Life Star to Yale-New Haven Hospital for emergency surgery.
