Bridgeport police are investigating after a man was shot in the foot on Monday night.
Police said 30-year-old Derek Nash was walking with a friend when two men confronted them near Orchard and Spring streets, one of whom shot Nash in the foot.
Nash’s injuries were non-life threatening, according to police. Authorities said Nash and his friend were uncooperative with investigators.
It’s not clear if police are following leads or have identified any suspects.
