Police Release Name Woman Shot Outside Hartford Bar

    Jeanna Flores, a 27-year-old mother of two from Wethersfield was shot and killed outside a Hartford bar early Thursday morning.

    She was a mother of a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old girl, according to Facebook page.

    Her Facebook quote: "Life is beautiful and im living it to the fullest!!! ;)

    Her brother, Ettienne Flores, a detective with the New Haven Police Department, told the Hartford Courant that state police major crimes is investigating.

    Flores and two men were shot when an altercation that began inside The Franklin Bar and Grille on Franklin Avenue and escalated outside, police said.

    Police responded at 12:55 a.m. and all three victims were taken to Hartford Hospital. Flores had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m., police said.

    The two male victims’ injuries were non-life threatening, police said. They were treated and released.
