Public Works Employee Accused of Stealing Snowplow

James Hooker, 49, has been charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

An Ansonia Public Works employee has been arrested, accused of stealing a snowplow from the public works complex.

James Hooker, 49, has been charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

He turned himself in on an outstanding warrant on Wednesday, was released and is due to appear in Derby Superior Court on April 18.

Police applied for the warrant on March 26 and received one on April 4.
