Robber Put Gun to Head of Hamden Donut Shop Employee

Police are trying to find the man who placed a gun to the head of an employee of the Dunkin Donuts located at 938 Dixwell Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday.

When a female employee went out to empty the trash, a gunman placed a gun to her head and ordered her inside, police said.

The robber ordered the woman to open the cash register and forced her and her coworker into a utility closet, police said.

No injuries were reported and police have not released the amount of money that was taken.

Police searched the area, but the trail ended at Goodrich and Butler streets.

Police said the robber is tall. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and red and white sneakers.
