When robbing a CVS, don't do it at the drive-thru window. That might be what an attempted robbery suspect is telling himself after his failed try at knocking over a store in East Hartford.
The lone male approached the drive-thru window used for prescription pickups at the CVS at 16 Main St. Monday night, according to police. He was wearing a black hoodie, black cap and a white bandana over his face.
As he got to the window, the man pulled out a gun and demanded money but the employee outsmarted him, which apparently was not too difficult, by ducking down and calling 911, cops said.
The guy took off without any money.
