A roofer was airlifted to Yale-New Haven Hospital after falling off a roof on Beaver Dam Road in Killingworth on Friday morning.
The roofer was working on home that is under construction and fell from the peak of an unfinished portion of the roof, according to the deputy fire chief.
The man’s injuries are considered serious, but not life-threatening, officials said.
An ambulance responded and transported the man to LifeStar, which brought him to the hospital.
Connecticut State Police and OSHA are investigating.
