Route 68 in Prospect was closed from Coer Road to Talmadge Hill Road and Matthew Street after a car hit a pole this morning, but the scene has since cleared, according to the state Department of Transportation.
This morning, Connecticut Light & Power was reporting 461 power outages, but power has been restored.
To get around the closure, use Route 69 and Talmadge Hill.
