Route 72 Reopens Partially in Bristol After Car Catches Fire in Utility Pole Crash

Route 72 has partially reopened in Bristol after a car crashed into utility poles and caught fire early Monday morning.

Three poles were snapped in the collision near 312 Pine Street and wires were knocked down.

Everyone in the car made it out.

The call came in at about 6:25 a.m.

The road was closed for several hours, but is now partially open as crews work to repair the damage.

The car was cleared just before 7:30 a.m.
