Two people were trapped in their vehicle when it rolled over on Route 8 in Torrington Thursday.
Fire officials said one car rolled over on Route 8 north near exit 44 and two people were trapped inside. Both were airlifted to Hartford Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway was temporarily closed in both directions so LifeStar could land, but both directions have since reopened.
