Ghost Hunters Have Scary Cemetery Encounter

She is usually looking for things that go bump in the night, but Nicole Hall, 33, wasn't expecting smashes in the dark early Monday morning.

Hall and her new team of paranormal investigators heard just that as they were investigating ghouls and goblins at the Gunntown Cemetery in Naugatuck, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.

The crew was confronted by a man who challenged them in the cemetery, and the whole thing was captured by audio equipment meant to detect ghostly noises, the Republican-American reports.

On the tape, a man's voice demands to know if the team has permission to be in the cemetery, followed by Hall replying that she does.

"OK, I didn't know," the man responded, according to the newspaper. "Sorry, I didn't know."

Then there were four loud bangs, the sound of the man smashing three windows and a rear-view mirror on Hall's 2001 Ford Explorer.

Hall and her team didn't see the vandal, but reported the incident to police.
