Second Video Shows Gary Craig Make Donald Trump Joke at Mexican Food Truck

Only one day after city leaders denounced Gary Craig for making what they called a racist video at a Latino festival, a second recording has resurfaced, purportedly showing the radio host making Donald Trump remarks at a Mexican food truck.

"I got tell Donald Trump about this place," the 96.5 TIC FM host is heard saying in front of a Mexican food truck. "He might want to put a wall around it."

State Representative Angel Arce called the remarks "racist" and "ridiculous".

"I'm not laughing. I don’t think it was humor at all," Arce said. "A lot of my Latino people don’t think it was funny."

Activists have wildly criticized Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, for his remarks on the Latino community and immigration.

Arce said he doesn't think Craig's apology on Monday isn't enough.

"I would like to see him gone from that radio station," he said. "I don’t think we should tolerate that stuff."

Towards the end of the video released by CT Latino News, Craig is at the Tacos Los Michoacanos food truck being served his pastor quesadilla by Jose Espinizo of East Haven.

"We work really hard on a day-today basis to please the customers and make sure things are clean here," Espinizo said. "For people to come make fun of us for doing that and for working hard it’s not right."

Government officials denounced the video that shows the host walking around a Latino festival at Hartford's riverfront, where he remarks that he must be in a "parallel universe".

On Monday, the radio host apologized for another video that appeared on the 96.5 TIC FM website.

“I would like to take the time to address the video I made at last weekend’s Latino Festival. I recognize that it was a poor attempt at being humorous. It was insensitive and stupid, and I sincerely apologize," Craig wrote.

Both videos are no longer on the 96.5 TIC FM's website. NBC Connecticut has reached out to the radio station owned by CBS Local Media.
