2 Hospitalized After Crash on Route 82 in Haddam

Two men are hospitalized after a box truck and a pickup collided head-on early Monday morning on Route 82 in Haddam and burst into flames. One of the men was badly burned in the fire, according to state police.

Police said it appears that Ryan Graham, 29, of Killingworth, was traveling eastbound and crossed into the westbound lanesaround 3 a.m. and his vehicle went into the path of Salko Duric, 50, of Hartford.

Both vehicles flipped over and were engulfed in flames, according to state police.

Duric and Graham were both able to get out of their vehicles.

Duric was taken to Hartford Hospital to be treated for head and back injuries.

Graham suffered serious burns and lacerations, police said. LifeStar transported him to Bridgeport Hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Troop F at 860-399-2100.
