A two-car crash shut down Lovely Street in Avon for more than 6 hours Wednesday evening.
The accident happened near Chevas Road, around 4:20 p.m. according to police. The two cars collided head on. It reopened around 10:30 pm.
One person was flown to the hospital by a LifeStar helicopter and another was taken by ambulance, police said.
