A motorcyclist has serious injuries after colliding with a car in East Haven Friday night.
Police said the crash happened in the area of Foxon Hill Road and Harmac Road around 7:15 p.m.
The motorcyclist was going east on Foxon Hill Road, collided with a car going west, and was thrown from the bike, police said.
He suffered a significant leg injury and responding officers applied a tourniquet, according to police.
The East Haven Fire Department treated him and he was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital.
No information is available on his condition.
