Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores in the U.S. are expected to close by July and Connecticut residents with gift cards or store credit are urged to use them as soon as possible.
CEO David Brandon told employees Wednesday the company's plan is to liquidate all of its U.S. stores, according to an audio recording of the meeting obtained by The Associated Press.
The plan would impact stores across the United States, including several in Connecticut.
