Southington Man Dies After Bristol Motorcycle Crash

A Southington man died after being seriously injured in a Bristol motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.

Bristol police said they responded to the area of 647 Willis Street around 12:50 a.m. When they arrived they found Kevin Trask, 51, suffering life-threatening injuries. Trask was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment. He was pronounced dead Sunday.

The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction team was called to investigate. Preliminary findings suggest the motorcycle was traveling north on Willis Street, lost control as it came around a curve, left the roadway and struck a utility police. No other vehicles were involved.
