State police are investigating a crash in a construction zone on Interstate 84 in Manchester that seriously injured a 44-year-old Stafford Springs man on Monday night.
Michael Allen Hand, of Stafford Springs, had traveled right from the construction zone, hit a truck, traveled across the right lane and shoulder onto the grass, hit a rock ledge wall and was ejected around 8:30 p.m., according to a news release from state police.
Hand was transported to St. Francis Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
State police ask anyone with information about the crash to call 860-534-1000.
