A police standoff in Southington has ended peacefully as the suspect surrendered to police early Sunday Morning.
Southington police say that a man threatened his parents with a weapon around 5 a.m. this morning. His parents were able to get out of the home safely.
According to police, the suspect then barricaded himself in the home before walking out and surrendering peacefully.
Southington Police asked that all residents of Meadow Lane and neighboring streets stay inside until the scene is clear.
