The state is holding on to millions of dollars in unclaimed property and wants to get rid of it.
Treasurer Denise Nappier's office released the official Connecticut "Big List" Thursday. More than 49,000 people are on the list. Most have cash waiting for them. For some, it could be thousands of dollars.
