Wednesday marked one week since Stop & Shop workers walked off the job and onto the picket line.

On the table is health care costs and take-home pay.

Stop & Shop confirmed to NBC Connecticut that the employees on strike are not collecting a paycheck, but claimed the union is paying them.

A union spokesperson said there was a plan in place for striking members but did not release any details.

The company said it is hiring temporary replacement workers and continuing to deploy corporate personnel to help out in the stores.

The union estimates about 11,000 workers in Connecticut are impacted by the ongoing strike.
