Streets have reopened after an underground fire in Hartford.

Connecticut Light & Power says an underground cable caught fire and cause smoke to pour out of manhole covers in the area of Park and Zion Streets.

The fire happened just after 10 a.m., closing Putnam and Park Streets and Zion and York Streets.

One building was evacuated as a precaution.
