No one will soon be patronizing anything at a Meriden strip club after a raid Tuesday night.
A police investigation into Club Laura at 2041 North Broad St. ended just after 6 p.m. Tuesday night when Meriden police executed a search warrant and arrested five people on prostitution charges.
Police charged David Henderson, 48, of Middlefield, and Alexander Granito, 24, of Waterbury, with promoting prostitution.
Elga Ortiz, 50, of Middletown; Loranna Castro, 43, of Middletown; and Laura Kuhl, 41, of Newington were charged with prostitution.
Henderson is also accused of serving liquor without a permit.
They all will appear before a judge Thursday. The club has been closed.
