A student in Berlin brought a clown costume to school and changed into it.
McGee Middle School said the student brought a clown suit and wig in a bag to the school on Wednesday morning.
The student went into the bathroom, change into the costume and walked into the hallway, where he was directed by several staff members to take it off, the school said.
"The student was referred to administration and actions were taken in align with Board of Education policy/school rules," principal Salvatore Urso, said.
The school's resource officer explained laws related to incidents like this to students during lunch periods.
No one was harassed, threatened or intimidated at any time.
