Suspect Arrested in Quinnipiac University Incident

A suspect was arrested after an incident at Quinnipiac University in Hamden recently.

The nature of the incident is unknown, but the university released the following statement.

"The university would like to recognize the swift response of the university's Public Safety Department, which resulted in the suspect being subdued shortly after the incident occurred and held until the Hamden Police Department arrived to arrest him," said Lynn Bushnell, vice president for public affairs at Quinnipiac. "No serious injuries were reported."

Quinnipiac officials declined to comment on the details of the incident and deferred questions to police.
