Suspected In Attempted Burglary Arrested

Residents reported people looking through windows.

Police have arrested a suspect in an attempted burglary in the Southend of Hartford.

Police responded to the 100 block of Hubbard Road after receiving a report of two parties looking into house windows around 10:30 a.m. on March 7 and stopped a suspect near Hubbard and Victoria roads.

Police said the person was also suspected of trying to break into the rear patio door of the house with a spark plug.

The door was damaged, but no one got into the building.

After an investigation, Angel Flores, 43, of Hartford, was charged with criminal attempted burglary, third degree trespass, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief. He is in custody on a $50,000 bond and will be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court.
