West Haven police have made three arrests in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at a Sunoco gas station on 540 Boston Post Road Friday night.
Pedro Cruz, 35, Japhet Flores, 34, both of Bridgeport and Jose Gonzalez, 27, whose address is unknown are facing several charges including robbery 1st degree, conspiracy to commit robbery 1st degree and conspiracy to commit larceny 6th degree police said.
All three men were wanted in connection to several robberies that occurred in surrounding towns police said.
The men led police on a short chase after the robbery which ended with a crash on I-95 southbound.
Cruz is also facing charges of reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, and interfering with an officer.
Both Flores and Gonzalez face additional charges of criminal possession of a firearm.
All three men were placed on a $500,000 bond.
