Police in Southington have located a suspicious van that was seen near DePaolo Middle School Monday morning.
Police pulled the van over at the intersection of King Street and New Street in Bristol at around 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
According to police, no arrests were made and the van had legitimate business reasons for being in the area.
It was first spotted in the area of Crest Road and Fairway Road Friday around 2:30 p.m. A witness told police the driver stopped and asked children about the amount of kids in the area.
Homeowners in the area reported the van returned to the neighborhood Saturday around 4:30 p.m. There was a female passenger in the vehicle this time, according to police.
Police said the van is no longer being considered a threat to the area.
