Swine Spike: 29 New Cases in the State

The state confirmed 29 new cases of swine flu in the state Tuesday.  This brings the total to 141 cases.

The most recent positive results include residents of Bridgeport, Granby, Greenwich, Manchester, New Haven, Norwalk, Prospect, Ridgfield, South Windsor, Southport, Stamford, Waterbury, Westport and Wilton.

The confirmed cases range in age from 3 to 56, with an average age of 17.

One person was hospitalized.  The patient was discharged and fully recovered.
