A teen was struck and killed while riding a bicycle at the intersection of Hartford Road and Palm Street in Manchester early Sunday morning.
The vehicle that hit the bicyclist then raced out of control and crashed into a pump at a Mobile gas station, police say.
The unidentified 18-year-old was riding his bike near the gas station around 1 a.m. when the accident happened.
The driver of that vehicle was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, police say.
Police were still on scene investigating Sunday morning and were asking drivers to avoid the area.
The names of the victim and the driver have not been released.
