New Haven Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in the foot on Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to Quinnipiac Avenue around 1 p.m. after getting a report of a person shot.
When police arrived, they said they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.
The teenager was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
