Meriden police will be at Platt High School Tuesday after threatening comments were found written in a school restroom, according to school officials.
In a recorded message to parents Monday night, Principal Robert Montemurro confirmed that the remarks were found and that police are investigating. Montemurro said officials do not believe the threat is credible.
“As you know, safety will always be our first priority,” Montemurro said in the message.
Meriden police will be on scene Tuesday as a security precaution.
