A Torrington elementary school will be closed today after an outbreak of a stomach virus, according to local reports.
The Register-Citizen reports that around 100 children and staff members of East Elementary School have become stick and the district was forced to close the elementary school today to prevent more students from becoming ill.
NBCConnecticut has left messages with the superintendent's office and the town's health department.
